Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Healing Dawn's community talk on women's health, perimenopause, and menopause. Many of you recognized yourselves in the opening list: exhausted after a full night's sleep, gaining weight while eating the same way, told your labs are normal when you don't feel normal. That recognition is where real answers begin.
Whether you attended or weren't able to join us, you can receive our free e-booklet below.
What the Talk Covered
The transition doesn't create the condition your body is in. It brings it to light.
Estrogen was never only a reproductive hormone. For about forty years, it quietly supported nearly every part of the body: brain, bones, muscle, metabolism, blood vessels, skin, and sleep. Picture a hybrid car. As long as there was gas in the tank, estrogen carried the extra load and covered for weak spots in the rest of the car. When the tank runs low, everything depends on the condition of the rest of the car.
That's why two women of the same age can go through the same transition so differently. The talk explored what decides how intense the symptoms are, including how well your liver and gut clear used hormones, how much muscle you have, whether your cells can make the energy you need, how you sleep and recover, and how much stress you carry.
We closed with the fire you can't see: the inflammation that keeps burning even when you've done everything right, and why lasting relief means reaching the layer beneath the body.
